To produce the runway show for Romance was Born Spring/Summer 08/09 Collection - Rosemount Australian Fashion Week - off-site - on-schedule 30th April 08.
From the moment we locked in the Sydney Conservatorium of Music - Verbrugghen Hall as the venue the show was destined to become a fashion and theatrical feast. Mind you it would have been 'un-romance' to have it any other way. 400 guests were seated to capacity within the concert hall/tribal council arena, where amidst teepees and campfires 40 odd models took to the stage. If the collection wasn't enough it was certainly a moving finale of a wedding and sacrifice that had guests out of their seats. Aw.
I have to give props to 'the Romancers' Anna & Luke, for among other things, their whole-hearted commitment to the creative concept and to the amazing team of people I had the pleasure of working with to pull it all off!
